Why do garage door springs seem to break more in winter around Chaska?

Do you work on older doors, or only new installs? We work on both. Given that most housing in this area dates to 1954-2006, a good share of our calls are on doors and openers that are 20 to 40 years old - sourcing the right roller size or a matching panel takes more time on those than on something from a home built last year.

What's this going to cost? We don't quote a price sight unseen - spring jobs, opener swaps, and panel replacement all price differently, and telling you a number before we've looked at the door isn't something we'll do.

What We Will Not Do

We won't tell you a broken spring is a quick DIY fix - torsion springs are under enough tension to hurt someone, and that's true whether the door is five years old or thirty. We won't quote you a firm price over the phone before seeing the door; too much of the cost depends on what's actually wrong and whether parts for an older opener are even still made.
